The Cinnamon Club

In the heart of Westminster’s streets of power sits the Cinnamon Club. With an unobtrusive entrance, the former library wears its literary heritage well, mixing it with the sleek modern Indian style of Vivek Singh.

There are four private rooms available.

The Library Bar is a striking wood panelled room with a wooden bar and shelving filled with books and premium spirits. Seating up to 24 on a square table or 30 on three longs, the room resembles the main restaurant in style with parquet floor, large windows and sage green floor to ceiling curtains giving the room an elegant air, one of the reasons it’s so popular for weddings and wedding receptions, as well as other celebratory dinners and events.

Just off the main restaurant is the private dining room seating up to 60. With natural daylight streaming in, air conditioning and opaque domed lights, the room is simple and versatile, with room for 40 and a reception in the same space. A popular room for breakfast meetings, it offers more interesting dishes like Bombay scrambled eggs, paratha, uttappam and kedgeree as well as the usual options.

The mezzanine floor overlooking the main restaurant is also available for semi-private functions, seating up to 30 guests, it has its own bar but because of its link to the restaurant, there’s no music or speeches allowed in this area.

The main restaurant, surrounded by its library shelving, arches and parquet flooring is also available for exclusive hire. A stunning room by any standards, it’s often used for larger events, weddings, and receptions.

On the lower ground floor, the Cinnamon Club bar has a totally different feel to the other rooms. White walls, low arches, sheer white curtains and black slate floor give this room a modern Asian feel – think Ian Schrager mixed with Asian flavours. The far wall even has a triple screen projection which can feature anything from Bollywood movies (as standard) to whatever your event would like projected, wedding photos, corporate logos, videos and messages.  With a maximum capacity of 70, the room can be used for receptions only and as it is not available for dining.

Minimum spends start at £1,000 – £5,000 depending on room, time and date of event (breakfast from £300).

Menus start at £38 per person for three courses including tea, coffee and petit fours, rising to £78 for a 6 course tasting menu.
