Chelsea venues with private dining rooms
Chelsea in South West London is located to the south of South Kensington, bordered by Belgravia and Knightsbridge to the east with Fulham on its western edge and a long north bank River Thames shoreline on its southern boundary.
Connected to South London by Chelsea Bridge, Albert Bridge and Battersea Bridge Road, Chelsea in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is an affluent residential district of elegant streets and attractive squares & gardens with some of the most expensive real estate in the capital. The district has a significant number of venues – including hotels, restaurants, private members clubs, modern bars and traditional London pubs – with private dining rooms available to hire for events including group lunches, dinners and private drinks receptions.
Chelsea is famous for Chelsea Football Club (which is actually located in nearby Fulham) and the iconic Kings Road which runs through the district from east to west. The King’s Road will forever be associated with the groovy boutique culture of the swinging 1960s and is home to Kensington and Chelsea Register Office, alongside an eclectic selection of shops, galleries, restaurants and bars. An exclusive choice of retail outlets and art galleries including the world famous Saatchi Gallery are to be found within the eastern part of the district, in and around Sloane Square.
Chelsea is accessible by London Underground via Sloane Square tube station on the Circle and District lines.
