Chancery Lane is on the western boundary of The City and forms the hub of London’s legal district. Set between Fleet Street to the south, Farringdon to its north east with Holborn and Bloomsbury to the west, Chancery Lane is situated in the London Borough of Camden. The name ‘Chancery Lane’ originates from the archival High Court of Chancery and the area is home to The Law Society of England & Wales.
