The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn is a hidden gem within Central London with over 600 years of incredible history. As one of the four Inns of Court in the UK, it was only previously available for events being held by members.
Today this prestigious venue is now available for exclusive use for intimate private dining experiences.
Private dining rooms at The Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn
With the different spaces suitable for dining between 6 guests all the way up to 176 guests, there is a room to suit all types of events, including birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, weddings, retirements and many other celebrations.
Weather permitting, drinks receptions can also take place in ‘The Walks’, five acres of beautifully maintained park hidden within Central London.
The Hall is the largest space, beautifully and traditionally decorated with historic paintings, heraldic shields, stained-glass windows and iconic portraits. The oak panels and high ceilings help create an elegant yet intimate dining experience for your guests.
The Large Pension Room is bright and sophisticated, featuring ornate chandeliers and a magnificent fireplace. This room features a grand and versatile mahogany table that can accommodate up to 50 guests for a seated meal.
The Small Pension Room and Benchers’ Library are both well suited for intimate dinners. The Small Pension Room is surrounded by oak panelled walls and features a stunning mahogany table, with the Benchers’ Library a cosy space with large windows overlooking Gray’s Inn Square.
Located next to Chancery Lane station, also near to Holborn, Farringdon and Kings Cross, the venue is in a prime location for your guests.
In the evenings and on weekends, free parking is also available for your guests, with taxis able to drive right up to the entrance.
As the onsite caterer at Gray’s Inn, CH&CO hold a Royal Warrant for catering, so you can be assured your event is in good hands! With delicious and seasonal menus on offer, as well as bespoke menus available on request, the onsite team ensure your event is perfect no matter how big or small. Dining menus from £60.00 + VAT per person, house wines from £30.00 + VAT.
Bingham Room
Located on the first floor in an adjoining building opposite the Hall, this exclusive and versatile room provides a peaceful view overlooking the beautifully landscaped squares. The room can sit up to 40 guests for seated dinners.
Marquee
The Walks at Gray’s Inn, is a secluded outdoor event space in the heart of London, just a few minutes’ walk from Chancery Lane tube station. In June and July a custom-built marquee including a bar, lounge area, luxury toilets, cloakroom and wooden decking is placed in The Walks. Perfect for summer parties, the marquee structure is equipped with an integrated PA system, dance floor, stage for a band or DJ, ambient lighting and air-cooling. With BBQ, food stalls, bowl food or canapés summer party packages, your guests are in for a delight.
