Located in the SW1 area of London, Whitehall is a major thoroughfare in the capital which runs southwards from Trafalgar Square to Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster – home to British government at the House of Commons and House of Lords. The area is bordered to the east by the Victoria Embankment on the River Thames with Horseguards Road and St. James’s Park on its western edge.
