Located next to the Millennium Bridge on the north side of the Thames, Northbank is a stylish restaurant and bar created by owner Christian Butler (ex-Adam Street and Baltic), which opened to rave reviews in September 2007.
‘Good food and a great view across the Thames ‘ Fay Maschler, The Evening Standard.
Northbank’s terrace has spectacular views of the Millennium Bridge, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and Tate Modern, and is just a short walk from St Paul’s Cathedral.
Head Chef Michael McDaid sources fresh ingredients for his excellent Modern British menu alongside owner Christian, who hails from the West Country, and together they have created a menu celebrating great British produce.
In addition to a discerning wine selection and an extensive cocktail list featuring classics, as well as Northbank’s signature creations, there’s the excellent Cornish Mead – a honey-based alcoholic beverage first brewed in monasteries during the time of King Henry VIII.
Northbank’s team creates bespoke event experiences including corporate lunches and dinners, birthday parties, New Year’s Eve parties, wine-tastings, press events, summer parties and wedding receptions.
