Just as your experience with us follows a journey – beginning in the garden and passing through the kitchen before arriving at your table – all of our purposefully selected produce has followed its own traceable journey from field to plate.

Our menu, Provenance, has been designed by myself and my team as a reflection of my character along with our West Lancashire heritage.

Having developed a relationship with each gardener, grower and farmer, I have worked at source to craft and select the very best seasonal ingredients, to present an intimate, dynamic and fresh approach to traditional British gastronomy.

Private dining menus £250 per head – six courses plus a glass of Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs.

Restaurant menu £115 for Lunch and £225 for Provenance menu.

With views over the grounds, our private dining room offers both an intimate and impressive space for your event.

We have a large dining table that seats 14 guests. With an open fireplace, exposed beam ceiling, and large windows overlooking the lake, our private dining room is full of character.

The bespoke seasonal menu created by Mark Birchall and his team ensures an unforgettable dining experience.

For larger parties, the restaurant can also be reserved exclusively. With many private hire options available across Moor Hall, we can cater to any special event – from intimate dining to complete takeovers.

Chef Patron Mark Birchall creates delicate, produce-driven menus inspired by our extraordinary surroundings, and our dedicated team provides impeccable service from beginning to end.

For those looking to stay with us overnight, choose from our seven bedrooms, each with its own unique style and design. There are five in the main house and a further two in our gatehouse.

Moor Hall Restaurant holds two Michelin stars, 5 AA rosettes and was crowned ‘Best Restaurant in England’ at the Estrella Damm National Restaurant Awards 2022.
