Fallowfields is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the best restaurants near Oxford.

Our Library makes the perfect private dining room for up to 14 guests.

For larger numbers our elegant restaurant can also be reserved just for you.

In January 2014, the AA awarded us 3 Rosettes for culinary excellence. Head Chef Matt Weedon has achieved this, having joined us in February 2013. He’s well known for his cooking in the past by customers of Lords of The Manor and, Glennapp Castle.

Chef’s pride and joy is our kitchen garden and farm. We grow and rear our own vegetables and rare breed livestock for the table. Our orchard of over 150 mature trees provides an abundance of fruit for jams preserves and chutneys.

Matt’s wife Rachel is our restaurant manager, ensuring great communications between your table and our kitchen.

The restaurant and hotel is family owned and run since 1993 by husband and wife team Peta and Anthony Lloyd
