Set in bustling Knightsbridge, the award-winning Bar Boulud, London is a French-inspired bistro and wine bar at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, under the direction of renowned Lyon-born chef Daniel Boulud, following the successful format of Bar Boulud New York.
With a seasonally inspired menu based on rustic French-American fare, the restaurant has become renowned for its wide array of charcuterie, house-made terrines, pâtés, hams, saucissons, boudins and famous burgers, and its impressive selection of wines available by the glass and in Magnum and large format bottles from the Rhone and Burgundy region.
In addition to bar boulud’s signature dishes, executive Chef Thomas Piat has designed an ever evolving seasonal menu, taking diners on a journey through the regional cuisines of France, from Alsace to Burgundy, through Provence and the Loire valley.
Our head sommelier, Julien has selected the best wines that each region has to offer to complement the menu.
Featuring two private dining rooms for up to 24 guests each or 40 when connected, as well as a Chefs Room for up to 50 offering views into the kitchen, Bar Boulud offers various event spaces ideal for families and corporate gatherings.
Designed by Adam D. Tihany and decorated with artwork by Lorello, they offer a variety of packages for any occasion, with specially designed menus from executive chef, Thomas Piat.
