There is nowhere quite like 1 Wimpole Street, one of central London’s best connected addresses, it’s the ideal venue for private dining: dinners, buffets and receptions offering the perfect marriage of up-to-the-minute facilities and timeless style.

Traditional British – local and seasonal sourced

Attention to the finer details is what really sets 1 Wimpole Street apart. That’s why all our food is prepared in-house. It’s unusual for a venue such as ours, but we believe it’s the only way to maintain the highest standards.

When it comes to catering we go even further and insist on knowing exactly where all our ingredients comes from so we visit every supplier to assure ourselves that they share our commitment to sourcing local and sustainable produce. That goes for our butchers, our fish suppliers and the many other British producers who provide us with their products. But it’s not just about provenance. As you enjoy your tea or coffee, you can rest assured that the growers have received a fair price from importers who take their welfare seriously.

    Catering to the highest expectations

Our team of chefs prepare all of our dishes on the premises and devote as much attention to a breakfast for guests as they do to an intimate dinner party. The range of menus we offer has been carefully designed to answer the occasion, whether it’s creative canapes for an exclusive reception, or an unhurried lunch for 300 delegates with limited time to spare.

The Toynbee-Mackenzie ENT Room is a striking, wood-panelled reception room that’s imbued with the rich medical heritage of our building. The ENT Room holds up to 40 people in a banquet style, and is ideal for dinners and buffet receptions.

The Max Rayne Atrium is a dazzling, airy space that you can shape to fit your creative vision. Characterised by its beautiful vaulted glass ceiling, it’s an inherently flexible area that you can think of as your very own blank canvas.
