The Assembly Room at Simpson’s in the Strand
The Assembly Room is a private ballroom on the first floor of Simpson’s in the Strand, in central London. This 160m², Grade II listed ballroom features high, ornately stuccoed ceilings, original chandeliers, grand sash windows and period paintings.
Available for private dining, corporate events and celebrations, the room accommodates up to 96 guests for a seated lunch or dinner, or 78 guests with an additional drinks reception in the room. Standing cocktail receptions can accommodate up to 150 guests. Meeting and conference layouts are also available.
Private Dining Menus and Wines
The food offering is classically English, drawing on Simpson’s long culinary history, with contemporary menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and canapé receptions. A considered wine list features French wines, including Champagne, Burgundy and Bordeaux, alongside selections from Germany, Alsace and England.
