Shelter Hall is Brighton’s seafront food market and bar. Split over two floors with a large external terrace, we are a seafront food market and bar with seven independent, chef-led kitchens and a cocktail, wine, and craft beer bar.

Unlike traditional food halls, our online ordering system allows guests to order from all the kitchens in a single transaction.

The seven kitchens offer a wide range of cuisines that cater to almost every dietary requirement, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free options.

With our simple phone ordering system, no pre order is required in advance and guests have the choice of salads, BBQ, chicken burgers, seafood, pizzas, and desserts.

Private dining events at Shelter Hall

Groups have the choice of different areas to privately dine in Brighton.

The private dining room can accommodate up to 12 people, while larger groups can hire the first-floor mezzanine for up to 60 seated guests.

The mezzanine overlooks the ground floor, providing the main buzz of the hall, while the floor to ceiling class doors offer uninterrupted views of Brighton’s iconic coastline.

Larger groups have the option to hire the entire ground floor for up to 150 guests or the entire venue for up to 300.
