An instant hit from the day it opened in 1997, Nobu London on Old Park Lane has led the way in Japanese dining in London and continues to cast its spell over fashionable, discerning Londoners and international clientele alike over 20 years on.
A jewel in the Mayfair crown, Nobu London is one of the most established restaurants in the capital, associated with masterful culinary techniques, superior quality and first class service.
Occupying the first floor of the stylish Metropolitan Hotel, the chic, minimalist restaurant is popular with A-list celebrities and keen gourmands who flock for Nobu’s Japanese-Peruvian flavours and high quality sushi from Executive Chef Mark Edwards and Head Chef Hideki Maeda. The menu boasts some of Nobu’s iconic dishes such as the world-famous Black Cod Miso and Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeño, whilst also encouraging diners to taste-test more contemporary dishes at the same time.
Nobu’s famed sushi bar sits at the far end of the dining room and gives diners a prime view of the expert preparation that goes into each and every piece of sushi. Sit atop one of the high stools and enjoy the colour, sounds, passion and theatre of Nobu’s sushi chefs at work under Head Sushi Chef Masaru Okayama.
