The private dining room at Hawksmoor Borough

Hawksmoor Borough’s unique private dining room is located in the historic district of Bankside and is just a stone’s throw from Borough Market & London Bridge.

The Cooks’ Room is the perfect venue for corporate entertaining, Christmas lunches and dinners, business meals or for celebrating special occasions such as birthday’s, anniversary’s, family reunions. The space is also popular for intimate wedding receptions.

The Cooks’ Room is a unique private dining room with its own open kitchen, allowing for a completely immersive and interactive dining experience.

Offering some of the most impressive feasting in the capital, our team have created an incredible beef feasting menu, a 5 course extravaganza featuring dishes such as panzano tartare, bone marrow oysters, scallops with beef scratchings and 35-day dry aged prime rib.

When dining from the feasting menu Hawksmoor’s chefs will be cooking right in front of you as you dine and will talk you through each of the dishes as they are served. If your guests prefer the room to yourself without the distraction of chefs tinkering in the background there are also a variety of group sharing menus which are prepared in the main kitchen.

The sharing menus are the ultimate selection of classic Hawksmoor dishes including seafood from the south coast and the best British beef.

The Cooks’ Room accommodates up to 18 guests at the main dining table, and there are an additional four kitchen-counter seats that can be used to increase capacity to 22 guests.

A dedicated waiter will look after your party, cocktail receptions are available on arrival and Hawksmoor’s team can suggest wine pairings that are tailored to your choice of menu.

The room features reclaimed tube tiles covering the walls, beautiful wooden and copper tables & leather banquette seating. The copper kitchen counter frames the open-plan kitchen which has cookbooks lining the shelves.
