    The Fishmongers’ Company is one of the oldest and most historic Livery Companies in the City of London, proudly ranked among the ‘Great Twelve.’

    For over 700 years, it has stood along the banks of the River Thames, playing a central role in upholding standards in the trade of fish and shellfish – a mission it continues to champion today.

    Private dining events at Fishmongers’ Hall

    We offer four distinguished and historic event spaces, each designed with the flexibility to accommodate a wide range of functions.

    The Drawing Room
    Overlooking the Thames and London Bridge is The Court Drawing Room, this offers a stunning back drop of London all year round. The space is ideal for more social events such celebration, intimate dinners and is the perfect location to raise a glass with friends or esteemed colleagues. Enjoy your meal by candlelight with traditional chandeliers giving the perfect ambience. For added glamour ask about using the historical silver collection.

    The Dining Room
    The magnificent George II sterling silver chandelier was made in 1752hangs in the centre of the Court Dining Room. For evening events, it can be lit with candles creating a magical atmosphere. This lightly decorated room with large windows give the same elegance as a royal palace. The spacious room allows guests to enjoy each other company before being seated to enjoy an exquisite meal prepared by our Head Chef Stefan Pini. This space is ideal for those looking for a long evening with company or a tasting menu of the highest standard.

    The Gold Room
    The Gold Room is the most modest of the rooms at Fishmongers Hall, offering private dining for up to 10 guests. High ceilings and window this is filled with natural light. As the name suggest the room is gilded, which is radiantly highlighted whether from the chandelier, candlelight, or sunlight. The Gold Room is the ideal intimate setting for small meetings and private dining for any group, such as dignitaries, colleagues, family and friends or to secure that new business opportunity.

    The Court Room & Terrace
    The Court Room has breath taking riverside views, leading to a large terrace. The room lends itself to smaller more formal dinners, but can be used for more social events, with the terrace the ideal place in good weather to enjoy a drinks reception overlooking the Thames. This room décor of wood gives a warm welcome feeling to guests. A grand fireplace centres the room for a homely atmosphere.

    The Banqueting Hall
    The Banqueting Hall is decorated in rich architectural in the Greek revival style, adorn with gold and intricate details. Enjoy candlelight dinners in a range a layout options, to support your event in the most elegant way. From traditional banquet style seating, round tables to a large square dining, we look to make every person welcome for what will surely be a memorable evening. Head Chef Stefan Pini will take you on a culinary journey that you and your guests will want to revisit every time. Head Butler Johnnie Furnivall and his team will see to your every need with the highest level of service fit for a Duchess or Duke. The Banquet Hall is ideal for large scale elegance, celebrations, and extraordinary evenings.
