Unique Private Dining Rooms in London for Corporate Christmas Parties

If you’ve been tasked with arranging a Christmas party for your team, your boss or your colleagues, there’s always a lot of pressure to get it right. It’s not always easy to please everyone but take a look at these gems for inspiration – whether you want a rooftop bar or a basement wine cellar, a Michelin starred dinner or a buzzing Soho brasserie, we’ve got the lot!

Super Soho – 100 Wardour St

This stalwart Soho destination has a variety of different spaces for hire. The 100 Room can seat up to 20 guests or 40 standing but this iconic venue is also able to section off areas for semi-private events. Three courses including a glass of team-pleasing bubbles on arrival starts at £35 per person for lunch and £45 for dinner. Canapes cost £3 a piece and bowl food is priced at £5 each.

Musical Fusion – Onima

With two bars and a private dining room for 65 on the ground floor and 60 on the first floor for seated events (or 130 for standing receptions), this Mediterranean and Japanese fusion restaurant is sure to delight colleagues not only with its stylish and contemporary design but also its house DJs on Friday and Saturday nights. A three course sharing Christmas lunch menu is £50, or set dinner menus are offered at £65, £85 and £120 per person.

Original Glamour – The Vault, Revolution

This is a truly unique venue with an awesome event space in the heart of the former Midland Bank. Part of Revolution bars. The Vault has its own bar, reception area and AV facilities and can cater for up to 80 for drink receptions or a smaller 40 for seated events. Minimum spends apply and menus start from £25 per person.

Wine Cellars – Berry Bros and Rudd

This fabulous cavern of cellars offers a fabulously atmospheric 17th century Pickering Cellar and the 19th century Napoleon wine cellar for large Christmas events of up to 72 seated (120 standing) as well as the modern Sussex Rooms for more intimate gatherings of 44 seated. Wine tastings, tutorings and pairings can, of course, also be arranged on request. Three course menus start at £65 per person. Handy for getting home from Green Park too.

Retro Christmas – 50 Euston Square

This unique and versatile venue offers a wide range of rooms from large Christmas parties of up to 160 in the State Rooms or 120 in the Euston Room as well as smaller gatherings of 60 in the Stephenson Room and 40 in the Princes Gate Room. Serviced by corporate caterer’s Searcy’s, this year the menus are based on retro food stations featuring everything from prawn cocktail to Terry’s chocolate orange mousse. And there are also 40 rooms for anyone who wants to stay over!

Room with a View – Fenchurch Restaurant

The elegant Vinoly Room for up to 16 guests is one of the hottest tables in London for a luxurious and discrete corporate Christmas dinner with panoramic views from level 37 of the Sky Garden. Offering refined modern British cuisine, the festive menu costs £95 per person for three courses or £105 including a glass of Ruinart champagne.

Gourmet Playtime – L’Atelier De Chefs

Not just for small events, L’Atelier des Chefs in Oxford Circus can cater for corporate entertaining for up to 180 guests. This year’s Christmas Party themes include Christmas Cooking and Cocktails, Festive Team Bake Off and Gingerbread House-making to help your staff bond and celebrate together. Daytime packages start at £90 per person, £130 for evening events.

Artistic License – Rex Whistler at The Tate

A truly unique venue, inside the Tate Britain, this restaurant can be hired for private dining any evening of the week, hosting from 30-80 guests. Christmas menus are of the decadent kind from pressed game terrine, festive spice mallard and mulled wine pear to choose from. Three courses cost from around £40 per person with extra cheese plates available.

Canary Wharf – Big Easy

Perhaps the ultimate party venue in Canary Wharf, there’s a Captain’s Table for 26 for an ooh-ah-some pirate party, while there are also semi-private bays for larger sit down groups and exclusive hire for up to 500. There’s also the Rum Lounge bar, with nightly music – ideal for those who want the party to carry on and a wrap around terrace for anyone needing a little fresh air. Sharing menus including BBQ treats and seafood start at just £30 per person rising to £65 for surf n’ turf extravaganzas.
