Private dining events at Benihana Chelsea

Whether you’re planning a birthday, a team celebration, a work social or simply getting people together for a great excuse to eat well, Benihana Chelsea has two ways to bring your group to the grill.

Semi-private dining

Semi-Private Dining seats 9 to 16 guests within the main restaurant, reserving your own space while keeping you right in the thick of the atmosphere, energy and theatre that makes Benihana what it is. Every table has its own teppan grill, so your group gets a dedicated chef and a show of your own, without losing the buzz of the wider room. It’s the natural choice for anyone who wants their group to feel the full Benihana experience alongside everyone else.

Rocky’s Room

For larger groups, Rocky’s Room is Benihana Chelsea’s dedicated private hire space, seating 30 to 48 guests across multiple teppan grills, each with its own chef. Book it as a full private hire for exclusive use of the entire room, or take it on a semi-private basis and share the space, and the atmosphere, with another group. However you book it, every table still gets its own performance, its own chef, and its own moment in the spotlight.

Set menus are used throughout, with the flexibility to add extras like sushi and sashimi to any booking, whatever the size of your group or the occasion.

December is Benihana’s busiest month for private and semi-private dining, and both spaces at Chelsea are available throughout for parties of 9 to 48 guests, on our standard set menus.

There’s no separate festive menu at Benihana, just the same show your guests already love, with a room, or half a room, to yourselves. Christmas dates are typically taken from September onwards, so early booking is strongly recommended for anyone planning a festive get-together.
