Lilibet’s restaurant opened its door in September 2025 at No. 17 Bruton Street in Mayfair. On the site stood a majestic Palladian mansion and birthplace of Queen Elizabeth II. Once described as “one of the most beautiful mansions in London” the house was at the heart of the glittering and glamorous 1920’.
A truly memorable space of comfort and opulence with a sense of warmth surrounded by unexpected majesty where luxury is inspired by history with a fresh sense of modernity.
The story of Lilibet’s is one of an unexpected majesty and the affectionate nickname of a girl never intended to be the Queen. Lilibet’s takes a bon viveurs approach to the best seafood with unique dishes to savour and a wine list to match.
Cuisine is inspired by the flavours Lilibet herself would recognise from her travels. The menu exudes seasonality, served with timeless elegance emphasising provenance and unique dishes that delight and surprise rediscovering “forgotten” fish and reimagining traditional recipes for contemporary audience.
Private dining events at Lilibet’s
The Hartnell Room at Lilibet’s is located on the floor below the main dining room.
The space accommodates 12 – 22 guests for a seated arrangement or up to 35 guests for standing receptions.
Inspired by the couturier and dressmaker Sir Norman Hartnell, whose studio was located opposite No. 17 Bruton Street, the room offers a personal and exclusive dining experience, enhanced by crystal chandeliers and pleated pink silk-lined walls inspired by Hartnell’s distinctive pleating.
His most famous commissions included his designs for Queen Elizabeth’s wedding dress in 1947, and his highly celebrated Coronation gown 6 years later.
