Pub Function Rooms for Christmas Parties in West London

Being a west Londoner we’re particularly fond of the newly(ish refurbed) Ealing Park Tavern. In an area filled with not much else, EPT provides that warm inviting glow from outside, matched by gorgeously restored wooden panelling, roaring fireplace, large private room (up to ) and snug perfect for dinners, parties, even Christmassy weddings receptions. £32 for three courses inc coffee & petit fours & a free round of Christmas cocktails if booked before 30th Nov or 20% off the menu for January bookings.

Another recent update is Chiswick’s George IV. The local landmark has a surprisingly large back room (where Headliners comedy is held) for dinners up to 120 (200 standing), as well as the Games Room, a randomly snug area for around 30 (standing) on the first floor. Being a Fuller’s pub, the beer and wines are great, the food comforting, and the atmosphere second to none with live music at weekends as well as the comedy for those guests who like to end the night with a giggle.

Another recent refurb sees The Pilot updated, including its function room – previously the stables is a separate building from the actual pub & perfect for private parties up to 40 (80 standing) – buffet or sit down & kids all catered for.

Other local favourites are The Hampshire Hog with its striking first floor private rooms. Think white Christmas & you’ve pretty much nailed it – but the white décor and long wood trestle tables also provide a great backdrop for any more colourful design schemes that partygoers want to create. (Christmas menus cost £25 for 2 courses or £30 for 3).

No west London pub list would be complete without the Princess Victoria in Shepherd’s Bush – a rare gastronomic treat– don’t even think about leaving without trying some of their amazing, award-winning Scotch eggs. We also love their private room – perfect for parties of all sorts – from lazy lunches to long boozy dinners, drinks and fun times. There’s a Christmas set menu for just £28 a head.
