Restaurants With Private Dining Rooms in Leeds for Group Events

Leeds will surprise you with its culinary prowess. Nestled, as it is, just before the Yorkshire Dales and in the heart of the rebirth of ‘locally sourced’, it really shouldn’t come as news, but none-the-less it can be overlooked in favour of other cities like Manchester and Edinburgh that have honed the art of shouting louder about their gourmet goods.

So we’re going to do it for Leeds. Here’s ten of the top restaurants with private dining rooms in the City, with Michelin listings and celebrity chefs all in the mix!

Mat Healy at The Foundry

This former Masterchef runner up has recently taken over the restaurant at this Grade II listed building. With a fabulous sun terrace available for standing receptions of up to 70, the main dining room can also be hired exclusively for up to 46 (seated). With unconventionally British cuisine, and bold food in a comfortable and informal atmosphere, it’s ideal for business lunches as well as parties. Guests can choose from a pre-ordered a la carte or, for events such as wedding receptions and other special events, request a bespoke menu. A minimum spend will apply dependent on time and date of event.

The Man Behind The Curtain

This Michelin-starred Leeds’ gem offers its Capsule Table for parties of six and includes prestige wine pairing by sommelier Tom Claxton. Billed as “Our most immersive and cutting edge dining experience where newly developed dishes are debuted,” chef patron Michael O’Hare’s exciting menu offers a multi-course tasting menu. This is top notch creative dining with Wagyu Beef and Olive Juice and foie gras donuts and crispy dhal all dishes on the permanent menu, it’s clearly an experience to savour – they recommend 3 hours to fully enjoy the experience.

Ox Club

Listed in the 2018 Good Food Guide and Michelin, the Ox Club can be hired exclusively for up to 40 guests. A set menu chosen from the a la carte is available and they also offer their fixed price menus for an early sitting from 5-6pm. Booking is recommended at least a month in advance to ensure date availability and a minimum spend will apply.
