Scotland

One of the world’s most loved tourist destinations, with over 3 million visitors a year, Scotland’s rich cultural heritage is mixed with stunningly beautiful landscapes like the Cairngorms National Park, remote islands such as Skye, Mull and Arran, internationally renowned golf courses, castles and iconic cities including Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow – not to forget good ol’ Nessie!

There’s also a regular schedule of fabulous events drawing in crowds, from the Edinburgh Summer festivals to the Highland Games and peculiarly Scottish celebrations such as Hogmanay and Burns Night. Whisky, neeps and haggis are some of the nation’s foodie highlights, but this trio doesn’t do justice to the culinary renaissance that’s occurred in recent years. Provenance and local sourcing have been adopted by the Scottish chefs, turning the region into a culinary mecca, filled with many fabulous private dining options in the Michelin starred restaurants, castles and country houses of the area.
