Chiswell Street Dining Rooms is a British restaurant and cocktail bar by Tom and Ed Martin of ETM Group, responsible for award-winning London venues including The Gun and The Botanist.

Housed within the famous old Whitbread Brewery building, now the Montcalm City five star hotel, the restaurant and bar has been designed with an elegant and luxurious feel bringing country living to the city.

Located on the corner of Milton Street and Chiswell Street, in the original home of the Whitbread brewery, the bar and restaurant now evokes an atmosphere of abundant good times.

With five private rooms ranging in size from 10-100 people for a sit down meal and up to 250 for a standing reception, Chiswell Street Dining Rooms can also provide the perfect setting for any corporate or private event.

Grubb Street

This private room (named after the street now called Milton Street) features Georgian panelled walls, vintage distressed mirrors and handcrafted oak flooring. It provides a classic setting which is perfect for private breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Seating up to 12 people, or up to 20 for a standing reception, we can offer a range of sumptuous menus.

The Snug

This is a semi-private area in the back areas of the dining rooms. With luxurious banquettes and art-adorned walls, this space can seat up to 18 people.

Chiswell Street Dining Rooms are also delighted to offer a variety of other private dining spaces through their partnership with The Montcalm Hotel

The Worsely and Melville Rooms

Similar in décor, both of these rooms boast original features with high ceilings, large sash windows and chandeliers. The Worsely can seat a maximum of 25 guests for dinner and up to 35 for a reception and The Melville can seat up to 30 guests for dinner and up to 50 for a reception.

The Samuel Room

On the ground floor this room has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the old brewery cobbled courtyard and can either be divided and used as three rooms for up to 10 guests in each or be opened up to seat up to 50 for dinner or 100 for a reception.

The Cornwallis Room

Our largest space on the lower ground level offers a fantastic size room with high ceilings and modern lighting for 70 seated for dinner and up to 120 for a reception.
