As this stunning restaurant prepares to mark its first anniversary, it’s clear it’s now part of London’s hot culinary scene having already hosted private events for the likes of GQ and Vogue.

The restaurant at Rüya is long and slim, impeccably designed and decorated in original Turkish tiles, rugs and furniture sourced directly from the markets of Istanbul. It’s rich in colour, with vibrant turquoise glazed ceramics contrasting beautifully with the elegant dark wood panelling throughout. There are a variety of table and chair styles, from banquettes to padded leather directors’ chairs, creating a natural yet curated look, while waitresses dressed in white goddess-style dresses float by giving the restaurant an ethereal air.

The Ozel private room is at the far end of the restaurant, which itself can be divided into three sections: the main dining room, the open kitchen area and the vast open bar at the front. The whole restaurant can also be hired exclusively for up to 150 standing or 110 for a seated meal with room for drinks at the bar.

The Ozel Room boasts plenty of natural daylight as well as the beautiful wood panelling and a stunning central sundial-style light and can seat 14-16 on a round table or up to 20 on a long table. The main dining room can be used for fashion shows and product launches as well as seated events for up to 80 on long tables, while the Chef’s Table section can seat up to 40 with direct views into the kitchen.

Menus are based on Turkish sharing style and they cater fully for vegans, vegetarians and food allergies. Set private dining menus are offered at £65 and £85 per person although the restaurant is also happy to create bespoke menus from the a la carte. Canapes can also be created on request. Often used for product launches and after parties, it’s also a great venue for birthday celebrations – don’t miss their dessert sharing platter and bespoke cocktails, which can be created on request.

This modern restaurant has full disabled access and is designed to offer the ultimate in flexibility, with a sectionable music system, a multitude of AV options, live music, DJ booths and a dance floor is imminent.

A minimum spend applies to all private bookings and varies dependent on time and date of event.
