Overview

Centrally located, with stunning views of London’s Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus, Veeraswamy is the UK’s oldest Indian restaurant.

Steeped in tradition, the Indian restaurant was established in 1926 by the great grandson of an English General and an Indian Princess. The restaurant has been the rendezvous of rich, famous and fashionable lovers of Indian food.

Customers have included Edward - Prince of Wales, Indira Gandhi, Charlie Chaplin and Marlon Brando.  More recently Kanye West, Liz Hurley, Arun Taylor and Kevin Peterson have been seen.

Whether you are looking to dine in the restaurant or entertain in the private dining room Veeraswamy hosts your lunch, dinner, drinks reception, meeting or event in unprecedented style.  The cuisine offers classical dishes, comfort foods and contemporary creations, all from the North, South, East and West of India. Expect a number some dishes not often seen outside India.

The private party room conveys a unique blend of exotic colour, richness and glamour.  It seats up to 24 (60 standing). The party menus range from £26 to £37 for lunch and from £33 to £44 for dinner. Veeraswamy are happy to discuss any requests such as modifying the menu to satisfy a non-spice diet.
