Private Dining Rooms

Overview

The Star Alfriston is an historic hotel and AA rosette restaurant situated in the idyllic village of Alfriston, East Sussex, featuring classic French and British cuisine with a modern twist.

We have three rooms that cater for private dining events, including weddings, anniversary parties, birthdays or corporate dinners.

The Capella is our largest private room and can be used for banquet parties up to 120, or a single table for a group dinner of up to 40 people.

The Heritage Room is upstairs in the historic section of the hotel and is surrounded by character with exposed beams and two feature fireplaces. This caters to a private dinner of up to 28 people on one table.

Our third room is the Library, which is ideal for intimate private dinners or group breakfasts of up to 14 people.

We offer set banquet menus and if numbers are lower than 14, the added ability for groups in our Library to select from our restaurant menu (pre-orders required).

Our restaurant menu price per head is from £26 per person mid-week with wine and coffee, and our banqueting menus start from £30 per person for a 3 course set menu with  coffee included.
