Overview

Senkai restaurant and cocktail lounge is London's first sustainably-sourced contemporary Japanese restaurant..

The restaurant has three distinct areas: a main restaurant room; seating 125, a feature counter-top dining bar seating 20, two private dining rooms and a cocktail lounge for up to 50.

Senkai's menu offers Japanese-inspired dishes, such as cobia (a sustainable fish) with rice wine vinegar and rock samphire; to Wagyu rib-eye with shimeji, alongside an intelligently composed wine list and innovative cocktail menu. Senkai’s signature counter-top dining bar menu will feature sashimi, shellfish platters, tartares and a number of ceviche dishes.

The décor has been created by Christopher Prain and utilises a natural palette of bronze, sycamore and walnut to create a warm and inviting interior.

Senkai is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. For private events, we have a license till 3am if needed.

There are two dining rooms available for hire; one fully private catering for up to 30 seated/ 60 standing, and one semi private for 12 seated (no standing).

The restaurant is able to accommodate groups of 10 within the main seating areas, although these are not private.

Full exclusive hire is also available for larger sit down groups of up to 160 seated or 450 standing.

Senkai does not charge any hire fees for its private dining rooms or for private hire, but private diners are asked to reach a minimum spend on food & beverage. These vary - based on the day, timings, requirements and numbers.
