Quaglino's
London » St. James's

From its inception by Giovanni Quaglino in 1929 to its reinvention by Terence Conran in 1991, Quaglino’s has always been out to impress.  Fashionably glamorous and seldom out of style, the restaurant has, over the decades welcomed people from every walk of life.

Giovanni Quaglino built the original private room at Quaglino’s so that the then Prince of Wales could dine out in public without having to wear his white tie and tails. Since then the dress code has changed but the glamour and intimacy of the private dining rooms has not.

Both private rooms at Quaglinos are situated on the mezzanine level, overlooking the restaurant. The rooms can offer total seclusion and privacy with the use of blinds or they can be raised so that your guests can enjoy the theatre of the restaurant below. The rooms can be used for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as meetings, presentations and product launches.

The private dining rooms are available everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to 44 guests for a sit down event or 60 guests for a cocktail reception.

A pocket of tradition found in the stunning modern architecture of the Quaglinos restaurant, this private dining room is the living room we’ve all dreamed of. Diners are sat intimately under a low ceiling and subtle lighting in a room which offers them an indulgent glimpse into a life of luxury.  The exquisite table decorations are set amongst a charming fireplace, inviting bookshelves and easeful artwork on the walls, making visitors feel at home in this world of fine dining. With one glass wall, the room overlooks the activity of the main restaurant, giving energy to the privacy of the private dining event. Quaglinos also offers a second private dining room for those who are looking to host in an equally elegant but smaller environment.
