Overview

North Road is a Michelin starred Modern European restaurant in Clerkenwell.

Stylish and minimal, with light oak parquet floors, bronze fittings and mid-century Danish furniture, the restaurant on St. John Street is the perfect setting to showcase Christoffer Hruskova's Nordic inspired Cuisine.

Using ingredients sourced entirely from within the British Isles, plates are kept simple, allowing each individual flavour to sing.

"New Nordic Cuisine is very much about the things you don't do to the food... it's about the supremacy of ingredients over technique."

Guy Diamond - Time Out

Overlooking the bustling restaurant floor below, The Mezzanine presents a unique and exclusive private dining space. Up to 24 can be accommodated at a single table, or up to 30 across three. The area can be configured to suit a variety of events - presentations, canapé receptions, informal drinks and more for up to 40 guests.

The elegant Sky Lit Dining Room offers private dining for up to 30 guests. Lit by a dramatic sky light during the day, and by graceful pendent lighting during the evening, it is the ideal setting for a larger group to dine together in resplendent surroundings.

Exclusive hire of the restaurant is available for up to 80 guests for a sit down meal or reception for up to 150.

"Though the ingredients are British, the spectrum of flavour and texture is definitely from further north. Every plate has a gossamer lace of complementary essences and savours that are earthly and elemental...Everything tastes of outdoors, like the wind of a moor or autumn birches freshly turned out...It's food that is very Scandinavian."
AA Gill - The Sunday Times
