Marcus Wareing at The Berkeley epitomises luxury but without the stiff formalities associated with it. The tables are well spaced and even the walls continue the luxurious feel of the room with their deep red velvet lining and stunning glass abacus wall highlighting the impressive wine cellar behind it.
Giancarlo Princigalli manages the restaurant in a calm manner, allowing guests to enjoy the atmosphere and two Michelin star cuisine.
Marcus enjoys meeting guests in his home ground, the kitchen, especially at The Chef’s Table where he creates a surprise menu for 8 guests based on the seasonal ingredients available each day. This exclusive table offers a birds-eye view of the kitchen and a chance to experience a lunch or dinner service as it unfolds.
For larger parties of 12 to 16 guests, the private Pomerol room is ideal, with set menus available to complement all tastes. Marcus and his team design the menus to showcase the finest seasonal ingredients, ensuring that the flavours, balance and design of each dish are highlighted.
