Overview
drakes is a luxury boutique hotel on Brighton seafront which combines breathtaking design with warm, friendly and professional service.
drakes boasts all of the amenities expected from a 4 star silver townhouse hotel. The accommodation consists of 20 bedrooms, all contemporary in design and complete with wet-rooms. Many rooms have views of Brighton’s spectacular sea-front.
On the ground floor there is a relaxed bar serving up to the minute, well mixed cocktails. Our bar is the perfect starting point for your pre-dinner drink/canapé reception.
Lower ground you will find our award winning double AA rosette ‘restaurant at drake’s’. The restaurant is recommended by the Michelin Guide and has attained the highest score for Brighton in The Good Food Guide 2010.
Head Chef Andy MacKenzie trained at Gleneagles under Alan Hill where he developed his passion and knowledge. Andy then moved to London where he gained yet further experience at the highly respected Mosimann’s Belfry and the famous Chez Nico in Park Lane.
In the restaurant there are two separate dining rooms, each available for exclusive use with no room hire fee. The main dining area seats up to 40 guests. The smaller private dining area seats up to 12 guests and comes complete with conference facilities.
Both restaurant dining areas are available to hire for group bookings at lunchtimes and evenings.
