Named after India’s holy city in northern India, Mayfair’s Benares Restaurant marries tradition with daring modernity; Atul has taken great efforts to translate the beauty and vibrancy of that city into his restaurant, the hand crafted Indian furniture and water features with scattered exotic flowers remind one of the ambience of the city, with a deeply seductive, dark and exotic undertone.

He is now a permanent fixture on the likes of Saturday Kitchen and Market kitchen, where he regularly showcases his most extravagant recipes.

Atul has not only built a London restaurant of great repute, achieving a coveted Michelin star, he has effortlessly forged a burgeoning media profile, penned two cookbooks, whilst simultaneously creating a global reputation that is synonymous with all that is luxurious and elegant.

Benares have recently added a new Chef’s Table and Sommelier’s Table to their private dining options, complete with bespoke menus offering a unique and intimate experience.
